I smiled as I sat down next to Cody but I couldn't shake the fear Zig's words had placed in my mind, if I was right about having to hide then staying here would put my new friends in danger but if I was right about them already being in trouble then...
"I'm sorry about Zig he can be incredibly trying at times" Zoey sighed softly
"It's alright" I muttered softly "he just cares about you"
"He cares too much" Ace spat "I've only just gotten rid of the black eye he gave me when he found me in your room when you were sick Zoe"
"He hid my tool box after the 'event'" Cody muttered softly.
I placed a hand on his arm to comfort him and a small buzzing filled my head along with an image "no he didn't it's just buried under your bed" I muttered crossly
Cody stared at me with wide eyes. Oops.
"I did tell you I was a physic and that included dowsing" I sighed
Cody frowned "you're telling me if I looked under my bed I'd find my tool box"
"No Cody" Ace smirked "she said it's under your bed but then there's so much under there that you'd probably have better luck finding a needle in a haystack"
"Haha very funny Ace" Cody growled softly "I doubt your room's clean"
Zoey snickered "actually everything in his room's arranged in sections of most recent to earliest"
"Freak" Cody muttered under his breath "I guess that's why we have to stay downstairs when I'm round"
I was laughing with them when the flashing started.
"Brilliant" I muttered bitterly and closed my eyes...
~ "I'm not doing it! For the forty-third time take the hint!" came the furious from the golden furred wolf "Ask someone else if it's so important but leave me out of this!"
"You'd really risk the world because you feel that you may be stopping someone important?" the second voice was cold and aloft.
"Yes! I told you I can't take any more of this! It's not right Hunter we can't just call the shots like this!"
"We can and we will" a heavy panting followed the reply "So I'm to understand you're defying me on this when I told you I wasn't going to let you defy me again?"
"That's correct"
"that's foolish" the second creature snarled savagely before sighing "It really hurts me to do this but your attitude has left me without any other options"
"what are you talking about now? No-one's forcing you to do anything!" the golden wolf growled as the shadows on either side of him sprang into life and a pair of strong dark arms closed round his throat. A single movement and the wolf was still. A covered hand emerged from the darkness as a falcon came in to land.
"Master are you sure you want to do this?" the bird spoke fearfully as he watched chains being tied around the wolf.
A pair of flame-like amber eyes turned towards him "Serge, a servant how wouldn't obey is about as useful as a horse with no legs" the voice was emotionless "Besides I may still have a use for him when I'm finished accelerating those irritating powers of his" the eyes turned to one who had grabbed the wolf "there are 137 others." It was a statement not a question.
"How did you know that?" the shadowy creature's reply was filled with terror
"I've had the little idiot marked before and every time he winds up being 138... It's happened so much I've been told I should start to use it in place of his name"  
"Very good my Lord" came the reply "you still need more collecting?"
The amber eyed creature nodded "we'll need a lot more but I promise you it will be worth it" he eyes ran back to the unconscious wolf who now seemed to look more like a dog "although he'll half the amount needed if my plan works..."~
"Lauren!" Zoey's cry was the first thing I heard
"huh? Where?" I muttered sleepily as I rubbed my eyes "that was a bad one... I hate it when they've already happened it makes me feel so useless!"
"when what already happened?" of course Zoey's cousin would chose now to re-enter the room  
"My vision" I snapped
"Vision?" now Cody sounded surprised
A growl filled my voice "yes Cody, a vision. One of my physic powers just like mind reading and dowsing!"
It was then a rust coloured blur passed by and jumped on Cody.
"hey Code" what appeared to be a lion cub muttered as he buried himself in Cody's fur
"Hey little bro" Cody grinned at the doorway where two other lions stood. In his head they were his parents. I glanced at them and sighed as brightly coloured strings filled my vision.
"Great, Cody's from the future!" I snarled bitterly "and his leaving with a bunch of people who are his ancestors... time must be really twisted now"
A sea of surprised faces glanced back at me so I scowled "My other power's are: I can see how people are related; the history of any person or thing by touching it; telekinesis and the ability to tell if someone's lying... I can also teleport but that's under certain circumstances"
"Right I'm suppose to believe that?" Zig stared at me.
"You believe Cody can time-travel"
"Cody proved it" came the icy reply
"Great Zigzag I'll prove mine then... your mother is half tiger and zoey's father's half cheetah because they're siblings; you really hate your parents because of your name; you find a hedgehog called Zeke really irritating because he keeps hurting you even though he's only 10 and you're 18; you chose you collage so you make sure Zoey and Ace weren't dating and, this is for you only, you're right about me Zig so enjoy that knowledge" I spat angrily and raised my eyes to stare at my new enemy "oh final thing! You'll find out more about who I am really soon and despite what you think you'll rather like my family"
The blue eyes narrowed "don't bet on it"
