Shadow x Zara the trip pt18

Two and a half hours later Zara decided that it was safe to come out of 'hiding' she looked round the door and finding no trace of Zach she left.
"Hey Shadow you can come out now!" she called to him
"I want to be in here!" he snapped back defensively
"Sure you do!" Zara said grinning "but if you're not hiding let's find the others"  
"Fine" Shadow slid of the bed and put his arm around Zara. "Let's just go"
"Alright" Zara laughed. Shadow was so stubborn. They found Jo on his way to the restaurant.
"Jo!" Zara called. At the sound of her voice the echidna turned round.
"Hey Zara! Where were you? Zach was looking for you" He called as he walked over.
"Keeping a low profile. Where is Zach anyway?" She asked
"He's decided to play tonight so everyone is going to watch" Jo grinned "Are you to coming or are you going to disappear again?"
"We'll come" Shadow said his arm still round Zara's shoulders
"Then we'd better go" Jo said "the show starts in 10!"
"Fine" Shadow took the lead leave Zara to talk to Jo
"What did you do while I was missing?" Zara asked
"We visited Matt again, and did you know he has the entire series of how to look good naked recorded? I can't believe we had to watch that!" Jo sounded horrified
"You loved it really!" Zara teased him before running to catch up to Shadow. Grinning Jo followed them through the double doors that led to the bar and restaurant. Beth waved at them from a table near the front; sitting on the table next to them was Rouge, Manic, Knuckles, Sonia, Sonic, Shade, Tails and Mina.
"Hi you two!" Jamie called to Shadow and Zara as Jo sat down next to her. Zara sat down next to Lauren and Shadow sat on her other side.
"Where's Amy, Silver and Blaze?" Zara asked.
Lauren looked at Kay and grinned "Amy is back stage with your brother, they were having a drink together before you came in" Zara sighed. Same old Amy.
"As for Silver and Blaze we have no idea. Sierra and Jack went to find them 20 minutes ago." Kay sighed "They've been almost impossible to find all weekend" Zara nodded Kay was right since they'd got here she only seen Silver and Blaze twice.
"aww Knuckles don't be like that!" Rouge's voice drifted over from the other table.
"yeah! You agreed to come treasure hunting" Manic said backing her up
"I agreed to look for treasure, not to steal it!" Knuckles had clearly been tricked by Rouge. Again.
Beth laughed "well I guess we know what they were doing now!"
Rouge turned round "What was that sugar?"
"Nothing!" Beth grinned
"Well okay then" Rouge smiled at them before continuing to argue with Knuckles.
Before things could get out of hand the main lights went out and everyone was quite Zach looked perfectly calm as he stepped on to the stage. As he walked on Zara spotted Amy at the side. Two more hours before Zach had a chance to talk to her. Zara leaned against Shadow's chest and just listened, it was perfect.
