Shadow x Zara the trip pt13

"Matt wait!" Zach called trying to get in between the two hedgehogs.
"You'd better have a reason kid" Matt said irritated. Sonic found himself quite angry hearing someone speak to his son like that. Zara looked around Sonic didn't know Matt at all if he started to fight Manic there'd be no way he'd stop, but he wouldn't hurt Zach.
"Brilliant" Matt said his voice dripping sarcasm "its Zara's future daughter  just what we need"
"Hey!" Sierra called
"All the attitude and twice as stubborn" Matt continued
" you have some nerve" Sierra called to him
"look" Zara said as she slipped in behind Zach "we need to give him something"
"I know" Zach didn't try to hid the fact he was worried from his sister "but what?"
"I have an idea, I just need time to get it" Zara replied
"Right! Hurry because I don't think we can distract Matt" Zach was searching for some way to buy some time as he watched his sister go sprit to get what she was after.  
"Oh I forgot" Matt called "You also have a very short temper"
"So do I" Shadow called striding up to the other hedgehog.
"Great" Zach thought "Just what we could have done without"
"Hey you're the 'Ultimate life form'" Matt seemed determined to get on Shadow's nerves "Tell me if you're so brilliant, how come you get killed in the future?"
Shadow shook in rage he wanted to hit this guy so bad or to say something that would make him regret opening his mouth but he could think of nothing. Guess he'd just have to punch him
"Hey Matt you're a prophet, why don't you answer him"
Zach sighed in relief, Zara was back.
"Well Zara where did you go?" Matt called. Zara sighed she wasn't going to answer him after all he already knew.
"I got you something but I won't bother to tell you since you already know and you know what you have to do if you want it" She said with a grin
"hmm... you're learning although that's no surprise after all you're learning from me!" Matt shot back " Very well I'll leave him alone, it means I can get back for my program but Zara next time you're going to need something better than a glittery waistcoat"
"Well if you don't want it..."
"I never said that!" Matt said as he took his bribe and vanished in a green light
"I don't like that guy" Shadow said to Zara once he reached her
"I think he's great" Zara replied "And he looks awesome!" she called as she ran off. Shadow stood there for a minute thinking about what she'd just said.
"ZARA! GET BACK HERE NOW!" Shadow yelled before he chased after her. Zara grinned as she felt the world rush by as she raced him back to the hotel, grinning as she passed through the doors and dashed up the stairs reaching her room just before him. As soon as he opened his mouth Zara closed the door and locked it.
"Night Shadow!"
"Zara! Open the door this instant! ZARA!"
