Sonic, Zach and Inferno all skidded to a stop in front of Onyx.
Sonic grinned "well this'll make things easier"
Inferno laughed "Nice job Onyx I wouldn't want to face your dad when he isn't super"
Even Zach seemed to approve "Not bad Onyx although we do owe Beth and Jo for getting the other six back"
Zara finally reached the small group "You got the hardest one Onyx"
Onyx winked at her "it was easy"
Sonic laughed "I'm glad you think so Onyx since we need everyone who can turn super which means someone has to get Shads..."
Everyone looked at Onyx. The grey hedgehog scowled.
"You couldn't have said this when I went to get the emerald? He's not going to like me interrupting his fight again"
Silver smiled weakly "at least he can't kill you"
Onyx scowled "he'll try"

Shadow growled when he heard Onyx call to him "what do you want this time Onyx?!?"
His son shrugged "Sonic says you have to go where he is. Not my idea" he added hastily.
Shadow muttered under his breath, quickly spun on his heel and raced after his son.
As Mephiles watched Shadow flee he laughed "the ultimate lifeform needs a new plan?"

Shadow barely stopped before he reached Sonic, the end result was Sonic found a furious hedgehog leaning over him and he was snarling.
"This better be good Faker!"
Sonic grinned and pointed to the emeralds behind him "feel like making things a bit easier Shads?"
The black and red hedgehog smirked "fine Faker but try and keep up"
The emeralds started to glow and Sonic laughed "I think that's your goal Shads"
Silver frowned "aren't we all on the same side here?"
Inferno shrugged "with them I'm not sure"
Zara laughed "You forgot Zach and Onyx"
Inferno sighed "you're right this is a temporary alliance"
Onyx grinned "I'm glad I couldn't stand spending all my time with your brother Zara"
Zara smiled "Let's just deal with this first"
Once they went super Onyx stared at Zara approvingly "You look like a tough little chick Princess"
Zara smiled "thanks"
Zach growled making Inferno laugh "Now's not the time Onyx!"
Onyx smirked "you're kidding right? If this goes wrong I'm going to wind up spending the rest of time in a cell"
Silver suddenly looked at Shadow with concern "Erm Shadow I'm pretty sure that's illegal"
Even Sonic seemed alarmed "Shads I thought Rouge was there to stop things like that happening"
Shadow stared at Onyx "what are you talking about?"
"I'm wondering that as well" Blaze called as she walked over in her super form. Noticing Silver's surprise she laughed "I had the Sol emeralds and thought I might as well"
Onyx noticed Shadow was still looking at him "what?"
Shadow frowned "when this is over you and I will talk"
Onyx groaned at leant on Zara slightly "I've done it now, Zara it was nice knowing you"
Zara smiled at him "your dad won't kill you I think he's worried"
Onyx rolled his eyes "Eggman doesn't rule yet Zara"
Zara grinned "not this again Onyx!"
Zach glanced at Inferno "what are they talking about?"
