Life in the future pt41

Platinum finally sat up, disturbing Zara who was cuddling into him. He sighed. That was the fastest five minutes of his life! Zara looked at him in confusion and platinum found himself absorbed by the shimmer of her eyes.
"Later!" he muttered.
Platinum frowned. There was something he needed to do.
He ran through his mental checklist.
1. Find Zara and see if she was ok. That was done and had gone better than he could ever have imaged. In fact he wished he could forget everything else and stay.
2. Get help before Onyx was murdered by Zach. Ah.... Oh no maybe he should have done that before he settled down to enjoy spending time with the most beautiful girl he'd ever met.  
Platinum sighed again; he had a feeling better late than never didn't apply in the current situation.
"Sorry Zara but there's something I need to do" Platinum looked away.
Zara smiled "Then I'll come too"
Platinum smiled an excuse to spend more time with Zara was good with him.
"Ok I need to find your father before someone gets hurt"
Zara smiled sadly "It's a bit late for that" she muttered "But I don't want to see Onyx hurt, it won't make me feel better and Zach will just regret it later."
Platinum was glad she understood. "Well Zara I don't have super speed like you but I can carry you back to palace if you want."  
Zara smiled, jumped on Platinum's back and nuzzled his neck. Platinum blushed.
"Hold on" he teased as he started running.

Sonic was standing outside when Zara and Platinum arrived; he smiled when he saw them.
"Hey I was wondering where you'd all run off to" he told them both "I thought I might have cause a protest or something"
Platinum interrupted "You and Shadow have to come with us now!"
Sonic looked at Platinum then at Zara "Hold on you're not Onyx. Did I miss something?" Sonic asked confused "And why do I need to go anywhere with the Faker?"
Platinum groaned "It's Onyx and Zach. I actually think they might kill each other"
Sonic chuckled "Nothing new there kid"
Platinum and Zara didn't laugh. Sonic stopped.
"You're serious aren't you?"
Platinum nodded. Sonic sighed.
"Alright I'll go get the Faker" Sonic muttered before shooting off and returning with a scowling Shadow a minute later.
"Ok Faker find your son" Sonic told Shadow.  
"Fine" Shadow snarled "Chaos Control!"
Platinum's eyes widen in alarm at the scene and even Sonic was shocked.
"Ouch Onyx may be your son Shads but even he doesn't need this"
Zach, Jo, Inferno, Hover and Shane had all decided to give Onyx a piece of the mind and were now working together. Onyx was still standing to everyone surprise and was even fighting back.  The four arrivals watched Beth join the fight from above and Sonic frowned.
"This is hardly a fair fight" he said as he watched Onyx dodge an attack from Jo only to be knocked down by Shane.
Shadow scowled and suddenly appeared in the middle of the fight. He quickly put a hand on Onyx's shoulder and glared at the approaching Zach.
"Try and fight me and see what happens!" he warned, his voice a low growl.
Sonic sighed and quickly go in the way of Zach as Shadow vanished with Onyx.
"Okay" he called "What's going on?"
"That's just what I'd like to know" A cold voice added.
